We are looking for an experienced Education Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs in our mainstream primary schools in New Addington, Croydon.
This role involves supporting children with SEN in their learning and development, assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement individualized learning plans.
- Assist students with SEN in various subjects, including maths, reading, and writing.
- Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with children with SEN.
- A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
