Postdoctoral Researcher in Sleep Medicine

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our Experimental and Clinical Sleep Medicine group within the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences and the Sir Jules Thorn Sleep & Circadian Neuroscience Institute (SCNi).

Our research focuses on understanding the pathophysiology and treatment of sleep disorders, with a particular emphasis on brain networks underlying sleep and circadian rhythm disruption in psychiatric disorders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sleep or circadian science, with experience in running neuroimaging studies. They will work within our human interventions work-package, supporting the set-up and day-to-day running of a large clinical trial investigating the effect of sleep treatment on functional brain networks and emotion regulation.

Key responsibilities include study set-up, participant recruitment, conducting eligibility and outcome assessments, and supporting data analysis. The role offers opportunities for career and skills development, including dedicated time for training and exploring career progression.
