Position Overview:
As a Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Educator, you will be instrumental in guiding apprentices through their learning journey, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the automotive industry.

Salary: Up to £35,500 DOE

Pertemps Newcastle is proud to partner with a reputable organization in the automotive sector to find a dedicated Motor Vehicle Apprenticeship Educator. This role is essential in enhancing the experiences of both apprentices and employers by delivering expert coaching and educational support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver engaging instructional sessions for Level 2 and Level 3 apprentices, ensuring alignment with industry standards and promoting the development of essential skills and knowledge.
2. Provide tailored coaching and constructive feedback to apprentices, facilitating their successful completion of the End Point Assessment (EPA).
3. Conduct regular reviews with apprentices and their line managers to ensure alignment and support for the completion of the EPA within the specified timeframe.
4. Perform on-site visits to monitor apprentice progress, assisting them in creating comprehensive evidence for their e-portfolio, OneFile.
5. Identify and escalate any operational challenges that may hinder learner progression to the appropriate management personnel.
6. Set realistic goals and provide continuous support to apprentices throughout their educational journey, including preparation for functional skills assessments.
7. Guide employers in understanding their roles and responsibilities regarding both on-the-job and off-the-job training for apprentices.

Qualifications:
- Vocationally relevant qualification in Motor Vehicle at Level 3 or higher.
- Experience in assessing within Apprenticeship Standards, with a recognized Assessors Award being advantageous.
- Familiarity with supporting learners through assignments and assessments is desirable.
- An appropriate teaching qualification is preferred.
