About the Role

Are you a passionate and experienced cook looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a skilled Head Cook to join our team at Abbeyfield Wales Monmouth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the dietary needs of our tenants, while ensuring high-quality cuisine is consistently delivered.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, stock management, and adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Maintain effective communication with the chef and service managers, as well as our team of food service assistants.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 in Food Preparation/Catering and Food Hygiene Level 2.
  • Proven experience in a similar setting, such as cooking for a large family or friends.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
