Wood Process & Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planner to support a project with Centrica Storage Limited on a 12-month contract.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and reporting accurate project schedules and plans to ensure robust control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and submission of project schedules and plans, ensuring they meet contractual requirements and company standards.
  • Supporting the management and development of the Planning team, as well as the management of project schedules and plans.
  • Preparation and filing of project planning documentation, including acting as a focal point for several project scopes.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proficient knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software, including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading, and levelling.
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Execution Procedures for Scheduling.
  • Proficient understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities.
  • Ability to develop project schedules and plans, prepare resource loading, progress, and staffing plans, and understand earned value application, cost, and schedule variance analyses/trending, and what-if scenarios.
  • Detailed understanding of project management principles and techniques, including Cost Management, Change Control, Planning, and Risk Analysis & Management.
