Our client, a leading provider of secure solutions, is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their team at Datasource. This exciting opportunity offers a unique blend of electrical design, installation, and project management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical systems for ultra-secure sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver turnkey solutions, including electrical fabrication, rigging, and satellite communication builds.
  • Provide installation services for electrical, data, mechanical, and communication equipment at customer locations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and submission of installation-related records to customers.
  • Contribute to the engineering function to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of installation activities, including returned hours, claim forms, and toolbox checks.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as an electrician, electrical apprentice, or military experience in electrical engineering and rigging.
  • C&G 2365 Electrical Installations (or equivalent) certification.
  • Experience with C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
  • Engineering Qualification NVQ3.
  • UK Driving license is essential.
