About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to join our team at Barratt Developments. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for leading our Technical Services department and ensuring that we deliver high-quality technical solutions to support our business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction, engineering, or a related field, with experience in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership skills, able to work effectively with our senior management team and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Technical Services department and ensuring that we deliver high-quality technical solutions to support our business objectives
  • Managing a team of technical professionals and providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver their roles effectively
  • Developing and implementing technical strategies to support our business objectives
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure that technical solutions are aligned with business needs
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to support the delivery of complex projects
