Job Title: Administration Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our team at Canary Wharf Group plc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Estate Management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of service charge budget templates and generate Yardi reports and comparative schedules of budgets versus actuals.
  • Support the gathering of information for general service charge enquiries, update the queries tracker, and ensure all queries are stored appropriately.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly building management reports as required.
  • Collate information and prepare the appropriate explanations of the Estate, Buildings, and Car Park service charge explanatory notes for the service charge budget and reconciliation letters.
  • Check budgets where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working in a high-volume, fast-paced administrative role is desirable.
  • Possession of a relevant experience in all Microsoft apps, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and some basic exposure to Bookkeeping/Accounting.
  • Highly numerate, with thorough experience of working with spreadsheets.
  • Computer literacy is essential, with a thorough knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Typing speed of 55 words per minute.
  • Ability to use initiative and communicate at all levels.
  • Flexible approach to work, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Team player who is hardworking and able to work under pressure.
  • Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy and quality of work at a high standard.
  • Appreciation of the importance of customer service and how it is applied in the context of Canary Wharf.
