About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Carousel Consultancy Ltd. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert tax advice to our clients, ensuring they are compliant with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising businesses on corporate tax matters, including R&D tax credits, EIS, EMI share option schemes, and sales and reconstructions
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to individuals and trusts on private client matters, including estate planning, inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and property matters
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing a professional and personable service
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities and supporting the development of new clients
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
  • Supporting the accounts team as required
Requirements
  • Relevant accounting qualifications, such as ATT, ACA, or ACCA
  • Proven experience in corporate and business tax, with a strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients
  • IT literate with experience using relevant accountancy software
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy
  • Collaborative and proactive nature, with a commercial focus
