About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Carousel Consultancy Ltd. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in providing expert tax advice to our clients, ensuring they are compliant with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising businesses on corporate tax matters, including R&D tax credits, EIS, and EMI share option schemes.
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services to individuals and trusts, including estate planning, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing a professional and personable service.
  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to pursue them.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and providing support to the accounts team as needed.
Requirements
  • Relevant accounting qualifications, such as ATT, ACA, or ACCA.
  • Experience working in a busy and fast-paced accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate and business tax, including trusts, inheritance tax, and capital gains tax.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • IT literacy and experience using relevant accountancy software.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to work.
