Job Description

As a skilled PLC Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PLC programs and control systems with a focus on process automation. Your role will involve working with various PLC platforms, particularly Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi, to ensure smooth and efficient operation of production processes in the food and beverage sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop PLC programs for process control in food and beverage manufacturing environments.
  2. Integrate and configure PLC systems using Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi platforms.
  3. Collaborate with process engineers, mechanical engineers, and electrical technicians to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
  4. Conduct system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Provide technical support and training to on-site teams and operators.
  6. Participate in commissioning activities and provide post-implementation support.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  2. Proven experience with PLC programming and development, ideally in the food & beverage industry, with a strong focus on process automation.
  3. Proficiency in working with Allen Bradley (RSLogix/Studio 5000), Siemens (TIA Portal/S7), and Mitsubishi (GX Works/FX Series) PLC systems.
  4. Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure to solve automation issues in a fast-paced production environment.
  5. Solid understanding of industrial communication protocols.
  6. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the food and beverage industry.
  7. Knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) integration.
  8. Experience with data collection and analysis for process improvement.
