About the Role

Murray Recruitment is seeking an experienced Purchasing Administrator to join our client's team in a permanent role. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Manager and the purchase ledger team to ensure the smooth operation of the company's purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Raising and issuing purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
  • Obtaining quotations for materials and services as required
  • Matching goods received notes to purchase orders
  • Collaborating with the Purchase Ledger team to resolve invoice queries
  • Liaising with business unit personnel, suppliers, and subcontractors as necessary
  • Assisting with the maintenance of the CAFM system
  • Compiling data for business reporting purposes
  • Performing general administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Excel
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
What We Offer
  • Salary dependent on experience
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Office-based or hybrid setup available after training
  • 35 days of holiday per year
