Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Travail Employment Group Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of food to order.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and cooking food to order, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our customers.
- Running the pass on the Head Chef's days off, maintaining the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Supporting the Head Chef with ordering, kitchen paperwork, and menu development, contributing to the success of our culinary offerings.
- Providing leadership and mentoring for junior kitchen staff, helping to develop their skills and confidence.
- Experience working as a Sous Chef, Head Chef, or Chef de Partie in a similar style kitchen, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food.
- Excellent knife skills, with the ability to prepare fresh food to order.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to motivate and develop junior kitchen staff.
- Salary up to £34,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Five days out of seven, with two days off together per week, providing a good work-life balance.
- Paid overtime, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our kitchen team.
- 28 days annual leave, allowing for relaxation and rejuvenation.
