About the Role:

The ION Group is seeking a highly skilled Key Performance Specialist to join its Implementation department. This team is responsible for deploying and maintaining Fidessa's multi-asset trading platforms and global market data systems on a managed, Software as a Service (SaaS) basis.

This role will be pivotal in managing ION's projects internally and with customers. As part of a highly motivated team, you will work closely with product development, delivery, sales, and finance teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To design, configure, test, and deploy Fidessa trading platforms, exchange connections, and market data services.
  • To enable, configure, test, and deploy additional or new services and software features.
  • Implementing strategic projects that drive business growth.
  • To ensure client systems and configurations are 'fit for purpose' upon delivery.
  • Maintain high-quality service to existing customers through regular upgrades and maintenance to ensure compatibility with stock exchanges, regulatory changes, and other software vendors.
  • Planning and implementing hardware performance enhancements and upgrades.
  • Provide timely support before, during, and after software change deployments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for upgrading, maintaining, and deploying Fidessa systems, products, and services.

The ideal candidate must have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working with Linux or UNIX environments.
