Pertemps Newcastle is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Mentor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting learners in achieving their goals.

Job Summary:

This role involves managing a caseload of learners, conducting initial assessments, designing and delivering training and coaching, and monitoring progress. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and adhering to college and awarding body standards.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a caseload: Provide high-quality training, coaching, mentoring, and assessment to ensure timely completion of apprenticeships/qualifications.
  2. Initial Assessment and Planning: Determine learner readiness and create tailored individual learning plans.
  3. Training and Coaching: Deliver effective training and coaching, covering KSBs comprehensively, both at college and employer sites.
  4. Feedback and Progress Monitoring: Conduct review meetings, set and monitor targets, and provide constructive feedback to support learner progression.
  5. Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain accurate records and adhere to college and awarding body standards.
Requirements:Essential:
  1. GCSE grade 4 (C) or equivalent in Maths and English.
  2. Relevant Level 3 qualification and commitment to continuous professional development.
