Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Supervising Social Worker to join our team at TACT (The Adolescent & Childrens Trust). This permanent role will involve supervising and supporting social workers, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and contributing to service development and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support social workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent care to our service users.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with our organisational values and promote best practice in social work.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of our services, identifying areas for growth and suggesting solutions to improve outcomes for our service users.

Requirements:

  • You will need to be a qualified social worker with experience of supervision and a strong understanding of the social work profession.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with a range of stakeholders, including social workers, service users, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership working.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £37,088 per annum.
  • £750 Home Working Allowance per annum.
  • £1500 Out of Hours Allowance per annum (once on the rota).

About the Role:

  • This is a 35 hour per week permanent contract.
  • This role has been created to manage and support social work teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to deliver excellent services to our service users.
