Job Title: Tax and Strategy Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax and Strategy Manager to join our Pro-Tax team. As a Tax and Strategy Manager, you will play a key role in helping our clients with all aspects of designing, implementing, and operating share and cash incentive arrangements in the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on Commercial and Practical Issues: Provide expert advice on the structure and design of employee equity and cash incentive plans, taking into account commercial and practical considerations.
- Supporting Client Implementation: Assist clients in implementing equity and cash incentive plans in the UK and globally, ensuring compliance with relevant tax and legal regulations.
- Tax and Legal Implications: Advise clients on the tax and legal implications of incentive plans, both for the employer and the employee, across various jurisdictions.
- Strategies for Tax Compliant Delivery: Develop strategies for the tax compliant and tax efficient delivery of incentives, ensuring that clients' interests are protected.
- Document Preparation: Draft share plan and related employee communication documents, including plan rules, FAQs, and tax guides.
- Technical Updates: Assist in preparing technical updates to send to clients and contacts, keeping them informed of changes in tax and legal treatment of incentives.
- Business Development: Support proposals and business development activity, including preparing slides, bid responses, and developing client relationships.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with the team, demonstrating excellent organisational skills, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines.
- Legislative Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation in this field, ensuring that clients receive expert advice.
- Commercial Awareness: Demonstrate commercial awareness, producing high-quality, client-facing, technically accurate, and well-written work.
- Project Ownership: Take ownership of delivering projects to clients, ensuring timely and effective completion.
