Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Brookthorpe Hall School, part of Options Autism. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils with Autism and complex needs.

• Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning materials and activities, tailored to meet the individual needs of our pupils.
• Provide support and supervision to pupils during classroom activities, outdoor experiences, and other educational settings.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized education plans, in partnership with teachers and other professionals.

• Hold a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Be adaptable and able to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outdoors.
• Have a responsive and caring approach, with a focus on meeting the individual needs of our pupils.
• Be committed to working as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on mutual support and collaboration.
