Business Compliance Officer

Voxconsultants is seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Compliance Officer to join our team in North West London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a local authority and contribute to the delivery of effective services in the highway network.
Key Responsibilities- Deputise for the Network Team Leader as necessary to ensure the continuity of service delivery.
- Provide expert guidance and coaching to Technical Officers and Technical Support Officers on New Roads and Streetworks Act, Highways Act, and Highways maintenance.
- Lead day-to-day inspection and enforcement regimes for statutory street works and highways safety and enforcement inspections.
- Issue notices to statutory undertakers and other departments in relation to highway network activities.
- Prepare reports and statements of evidence for legal proceedings and advise lawyers on cases.
- Hold the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 supervisor's qualification (City & Guilds Units 1 to 16).
- Have experience in highway inspection and/or maintenance.
This is an initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
PAYE via Umbrella.
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Candidates will be required to complete onboarding and compliance checks, including DBS and online training modules, prior to starting.
