Compliance Officer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Officer to join our team at Compliance Professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company's compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a strong risk management culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular compliance monitoring and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on compliance matters and ensure that all employees understand their compliance responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement effective risk management strategies.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities and ensure that all necessary reports are submitted to regulatory bodies in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure that our company's policies and procedures are aligned with these changes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a compliance role at a mortgage lender.
  • Strong knowledge of PRA and FCA regulation of the mortgage industry, including CBTL.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
