Job Overview

Face Consultants Ltd is seeking a skilled Site Quality Control Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that clients' facilities are constructed in line with relevant design specifications and construction best practices.

The role will involve visiting sites to review onsite quality control, working closely with main contractors and specialist concrete flooring sub-contractors. The engineer will also be required to produce short reports using adapted software.

As the role progresses, the successful candidate will develop to attend site meetings as the Face Consultants Representative, requiring a good understanding of engineering construction.

During quieter periods, the engineer may be required to aid other departments such as Design or Surveying and Testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct onsite quality control reviews
  • Work with main contractors and sub-contractors
  • Produce reports using adapted software
  • Attend site meetings as Face Consultants Representative
  • Aid other departments as required
Requirements
  • HND/BSc/BEng Civil Engineering or related subject
  • Understanding of construction and construction techniques
  • Good level of English - written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
