Senior Real Estate Lawyer for AWS Infrastructure Expansion

Ambitious commercial real estate lawyers are in high demand to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) as it continues to expand its global reach.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced lawyer with a background in real estate law to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to support the worldwide data center expansion of AWS through land acquisitions and leasing, drafting and negotiating contracts, providing legal counsel to business team members, and managing outside counsel and advising internal business clients.

As a Senior Real Estate Lawyer at Amazon, you can expect a competitive salary between $250,000 and $350,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to a generous compensation package, you will also have access to a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and negotiating contracts related to real estate transactions
  • Providing legal counsel to business team members regarding real estate matters
  • Managing outside counsel and advising internal business clients on real estate issues
  • Supporting the worldwide data center expansion of AWS through land acquisitions and leasing

Requirements:

  • Qualified lawyer with at least five years of post-qualification experience in real estate law
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate law and regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
