Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role:

Stirling Council is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Corporate Procurement function. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering strategic and operational procurement activities that drive best value and benefit across the council area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Corporate Procurement function in delivering strategic sourcing activities for specific categories of spend.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and report on procurement activity, ensuring robust and transparent systems are in place.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of procurement strategies and policies.
