Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of support staff, ensuring that personalized care plans and risk assessments are implemented effectively. You will also manage resources efficiently, promote a positive team environment, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate and oversee personal care and housing support tasks
  • Ensure staff follow service users' care and support plans
  • Act as a key advocate for service users, promoting their best interests
  • Develop person-centred care plans with meaningful goals
  • Ensure service users engage with the community and maintain an active, healthy lifestyle
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or commitment to obtain within six months)
  • At least two years' experience in a social care setting, including six months with behaviours that challenge
  • Knowledge of the service user group and their needs
  • Competency in IT, including Microsoft Office packages
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £17.30 per hour, with opportunities for paid breaks, free parking, and access to training and development programs. We also offer an auto-enrolment pension scheme, occupational sick pay, and an Employee Assistance Programme with 24/7 GP access.
