About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Weekend Hygiene Operative to join our team at Avara Foods, a leading food business in the UK. As a Weekend Hygiene Operative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in our production facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times
- Follow food safety guidelines and regulations
- Participate in the continuous improvement of quality, safety, and productivity standards
- Perform manual handling of plant and equipment
- Isolate plant and machinery as required
- Meet housekeeping and hygiene standards individually and as part of a team
Requirements:
- Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
- Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
- Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
About Avara Foods:
Avara Foods is a leading food business in the UK, supplying chicken and turkey to major supermarkets and well-known restaurants. We own and manage our entire supply chain, from farms to factory and all the way to the customer door. Our advanced manufacturing site in Hereford is one of our main processing facilities, processing up to 2 million birds per week.
