Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and check medication prescribed to patients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Identify potential interactions between medications and provide information to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Order and manage stock, ensuring it is stored and handled appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all medication processed through the pharmacy.
- Offer advice on dosages, side effects, and other aspects of medication use.
- Deliver community healthcare services, including prescription collection and delivery.
- Offer screening programs for common ailments, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
- Recruit, hire, and train staff, including Trainee Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants.
- Work with the pharmaceutical team to maintain a clean, customer-friendly workplace.
- Masters degree accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- High-level customer service knowledge.
- Computer skills, including the use of specialist software.
- Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
- Diplomacy, discretion, and the ability to manage sensitive situations effectively.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
