About the Role
Curo is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting older people from diverse backgrounds in their homes, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to customers, addressing their physical and mental health needs, and promoting social connections.
- Assist customers with daily tasks, ensuring their safety and independence within their homes.
- Liaise with care agencies, social workers, and other relevant professionals to ensure seamless support.
- Accurately record customer interactions on our bespoke IT system.
Requirements
- Passion for working with older people, excellent communication skills, and a caring attitude.
- Ability to work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills.
- IT literacy, proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Flexibility to work in various locations, including B&NES, and adapt to changing customer needs.
- Full driving license and ability to travel around B&NES area.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check required (Curo will arrange).
