Job Title: Embedded Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Developer to join our team at Gulhuset Design. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing complex embedded systems for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop embedded system architectures for our clients
  • Understand and decompose complex system requirements to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and test embedded software systems to ensure they meet the required specifications
  • Collaborate with our team of embedded software, firmware, and electronic design engineers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Generate supporting design documentation and perform regular technical reviews
Requirements:
  • Experience in creating embedded system architectures and designing complex systems
  • Ability to understand and decompose complex system requirements
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical information to stakeholders
  • Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome complex technical challenges
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and work independently or collaboratively as needed
  • Eligibility for SC security clearance
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience using Vivado and Vitis design tools or equivalent
  • Experience delivering embedded systems as products
  • Knowledge of defence engineering and airborne standards
  • Familiarity with systems engineering approaches and Model Based System Engineering tools such as Simulink
  • Domain knowledge of weapon systems or similar fields
