Cook Volunteer Role

We are seeking a passionate and skilled cook to join our team at SeeAbility. As a cook volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism to develop their cooking skills and enjoy nutritious meals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for our service users
  • Support individuals to develop their cooking skills and confidence
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience
  • Communicate effectively with service users, staff, and volunteers
Requirements:
  • Passion for cooking and a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • DBS check and two satisfactory references
