Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Elevator Tester to join our team in the Midlands. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all new lift installations within our construction portfolio are fully tested and compliant, providing technical support to other Field Test Engineers, and training new Field Test Engineers and Installation Engineers in adjusting and commissioning units.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough testing of new lift installations to ensure compliance and fitness for use.
- Provide technical support to Field Test Engineers across the business.
- Train new Field Test Engineers and Installation Engineers in adjusting and commissioning units.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles, as well as Elevator Codes and Standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously review and improve processes and procedures, ensuring quality control meets operational requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, leveraging networking skills to drive business growth.
- Hold a National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ4 or equivalent relevant experience.
- Be IT literate with Microsoft experience.
