About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Elevator Tester to join our team in the Midlands region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all new lift installations are fully tested and compliant with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough testing and inspection of elevator installations to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  2. Provide technical support to other Field Test Engineers and Installation Engineers across the business.
  3. Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistency and excellence in elevator installations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in elevator technology.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Extensive experience in elevator testing and inspection.
  2. Demonstrable knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
  3. Demonstrable experience of elevator codes and standards applicable to the elevator and escalator industry.
  4. Demonstrable experience in continuous review and improvement of processes and procedures.
  5. National Vocational Qualification in Elevator/Escalator NVQ4 or equivalent relevant experience.
  6. IT literacy with Microsoft experience.
