Principal Commercial Lawyer

Lancashire County Council is seeking a highly skilled Principal Commercial Lawyer to join our Legal Services team and lead on Pensions matters.
About the RoleAs a Principal Commercial Lawyer, you will provide technical and strategic guidance on complex pensions matters, interpreting and communicating policy, legislation, and codes of practice.
You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Fund and Strategic Commercial Lawyers, to represent the views of the Council and Pension Fund in governance discussions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical and strategic guidance on pensions matters
- Interpreting and communicating policy, legislation, and codes of practice
- Collaborating with senior stakeholders to represent the Council and Pension Fund
- Developing effective relationships with other pensions pools
