About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to work with a client who requires support with daily living tasks and has a passion for fitness and physical wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and personal care support to our client, including PEG feeding, medication administration, and moving and handling.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Encourage and support our client's interests and hobbies, including swimming, gym activities, and art sessions.
- Attend community events and outings with our client, such as theatre performances and shopping trips.
- Communicate effectively with our client, who communicates via eye movement or typing on his iPad.
Requirements
- Previous paid care experience of 3 months full-time caring for clients with complex needs within the UK.
- A full UK driver's license and access to your own vehicle, due to the remote location of the client's home.
