Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Area Sales Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire, a specialist construction sales recruitment consultancy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting our range of HVAC full systems and building services solutions to commercial projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Target commercial projects where a lot of water is consumed, including schools, sports & leisure, hotels, care homes, food & beverage, restaurants, and salons.
  • Growing relationships with circa 40 large MEP Contractors, M&E contractors, HVAC plumbing & heating contractors/installers on patch.
  • Conducting 1-2 CPD presentations per week to promote our products and services.
  • Top-down selling, breaking into the specification market by targeting end-users, local authorities, and M&E consultants before tracking projects through with the M&E and plumbing contractors and sub-contractors/installers.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project tracking, CPDs, forecasting, and other KPIs.

Requirements

  • Commercial HVAC field sales background from the plumbing & heating building services sector.
  • HVAC specification field sales experience with M&E consultants, MEP Contractors, local authorities, or architects.
  • Technically minded with ability to present CPDs and track projects.
  • Knowledge of full HVAC systems, including hot water circuits, gas flues, and/or boilers, chillers, and other related systems.
