Laboratory Researcher

We are pleased to be recruiting a temporary Microbiologist / Molecular Biology professional on behalf of our industry leading client, who manufactures world famous consumer household brands & personal hygiene products.

The successful candidate will conduct and assess the practical application of solid-phase cytometry and Next-Gen Sequencing techniques in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on their implementation in product quality and manufacturing processes.

• Conducting and assessing the practical application of solid-phase cytometry and Next-Gen Sequencing techniques in a manufacturing setting.
• Working seamlessly within a manufacturing plant lab environment contributing to overall safety and quality culture.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• BSc/MSc in Microbiology, Molecular Biology or Bioanalytical, or a closely related discipline, with a proven lab focus.
• Skilled in a range of modern methods ideally including cytometry and Next-Gen Sequencing, and traditional microbiology methods.
• Experience of the generation of quality data and statistical analysis in a GMP lab.
• The ability to break down problems into hypotheses and develop clear technical learning plans using the scientific method.
