Job Description:

Austin Fraser is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant Professional to join our team in Northampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a high volume and value of invoices, ensuring supplier statement reconciliations, and maintaining creditor balances.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced accounts payable professional to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively manage a shared inbox, responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • You will also be responsible for preparing and completing payments, managing a high volume and value of invoices, and ensuring the integrity of creditor balances.

Responsibilities:

  • Matching, batching, and coding of a high volume and value of invoices.
  • Ensuring supplier statement reconciliations are being performed and ensuring the integrity of creditor balances.
  • Logging and communication of all supplier invoice queries.
  • Preparation and completion of payments.
  • Management of shared inbox, ensuring timely responses are made to prevent 'on stop' issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in accounts payable and/or purchase ledger.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
