We are seeking a skilled and experienced Neonatal Matron to join our team at Nottingham Children's Hospital. As a Matron, you will play a pivotal role in the quality agenda, delivery of care, and the continuing development of nursing within the teams.

The successful candidate will have leadership experience, well-developed organisational skills, and provide a visible presence with daily clinical and professional leadership and support for nursing. You will also be responsible for maintaining quality-focused standards and linking with other healthcare professionals throughout the services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational, clinical, professional leadership and support for nursing staff.
  • Maintain quality-focused standards and ensure compliance with prevention and control of infections.
  • Develop and implement strategies that impact positively across the service.
  • Ensure that appropriate resources are in place to support the delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements

">
  • First degree or equivalent in health-related subject.
  • Leadership experience of working within a level 3 neonatal unit.
  • Strong leadership qualities and ability to prioritise own workload.
