Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse - Mental Health Hospital

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at a leading provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will work in a newly commissioned mental health hospital in Derby, providing high-quality care to patients aged 18 and above.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to patients with mental health needs, including depression, personality disorder, learning disabilities, and addiction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote positive teamwork and support patients in achieving their goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Participate in the induction programme and ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN) and valid NMC registration with no restrictions.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • A minimum of 1 year of mental health experience in a low-high secure, forensic, acute, PICU, NHS, or private setting.
  • Strong team-working skills, a high level of self-motivation, and a flexible approach.
  • A positive attitude, naturally caring and compassionate, with a commitment to high-quality care and values-based practice.
