Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Noah's Ark Day Nursery. The successful candidate will have a Level 2/3 qualification in childcare and development and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Main Responsibilities:

• To deliver high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their individual needs and interests are met.
• To maintain accurate records of children's development and learning journeys, sharing this information with parents and carers.
• To support colleagues and engage as part of a team to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children.
• To develop and maintain strong partnerships with parents and carers to facilitate day-to-day care and developmental needs.
• To ensure a high-quality provision and environment at all times, taking into account any special educational or medical needs.

Requirements:

• Level 2/3 qualification in childcare and development.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues.
• Flexibility to work within the nursery's policies and procedures.
