About the Role

As a Vascular Surgeon and Clinical Educator at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our vascular surgery service.

About the Position

This is a permanent full-time post, offering a salary range of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures, mentoring junior staff, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform complex surgical procedures, including vascular surgery.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff to ensure their competence and confidence.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including GMC standards and Good Medical Practice.
Requirements
  • FRC or equivalent qualification in Vascular Surgery.
  • Full GMC registration and licence to practice.
  • Proven experience in vascular surgery and clinical education.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills.
