About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team as a Workshop Engineer for Powered Access Equipment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of powered access machines to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) of machines at client premises and at depot, ensuring compliance with manufacturer's specifications, company policy, and relevant regulations.
  • Repair machines at depot or on site as required, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and company policy.
  • Complete planned maintenance activities, including maintaining the appearance of the fleet to corporate standards.
  • Handover machines to customers, providing training on safe machine operation and ensuring a high standard of customer care.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional image at all times.
  • Accurately complete all relevant paperwork, including engineer's reports, off-hire documents, and service sheets.

Requirements:

  • Relevant general engineering maintenance qualification, preferably to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics fault finding.
  • Understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.
