About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing financial services firm as a Paraplanning Professional. As a key member of the team, you will provide a full paraplanning function to one of our Senior Financial Advisors, ensuring exceptional client service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client File Management: Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and reviews.
  • Cash Flow Modelling: Build and maintain cash flow models to support financial planning recommendations.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify suitable financial planning solutions for clients.
  • Recommendations and Reports: Prepare and present recommendations and suitability reports to clients and Senior Financial Advisors.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients' legal and tax advisors to ensure seamless implementation of recommendations.
  • Compliance and Implementation: Oversee the implementation of recommendations, completion of application forms, and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Client Meetings: Attend client meetings as required to discuss financial planning recommendations and progress.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Paraplanning Professional or in a similar role.
  • Suitability Report Writing: Excellent suitability report writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Cash Flow Modelling: Experience with cash flow modelling software and tools would be an advantage.
  • Qualifications: Hold a full Diploma in Financial Planning or be close to achieving this qualification.
  • Personal Qualities: Be enthusiastic about the profession, forward-thinking, and committed to doing the right thing for clients and colleagues.
