We are seeking a skilled Trainee Import Customs Administrator to join our Logistics and Freight Services team in Bedford.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in customs clearance and work with our experienced team to ensure the smooth release of goods into the UK.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Recognizing client commercial invoices and packing lists, extracting data as necessary to complete import declarations.
  • Entering details onto our Customs software systems, including CDS, CNS, Destin8, NCTS, and NES.
  • Liaising with internal colleagues on release, transport, and warehousing issues.
Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Numerical skills essential, with excellent data handling ability.
  • Bi-lingual – ability to speak Italian as well as English would be advantageous.
  • Ability to operate Windows-based applications and any other standard industry software.
