Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Collector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating commitments to resolve overdue accounts, monitoring arrangements, and managing a case management diary system.
Key Tasks:
- Negotiate with customers to resolve outstanding debts
- Monitor arrangements and commitments to prevent overdue accounts
- Manage a case management diary system to ensure timely resolution
- Review pre-legal debts to determine suitability for legal proceedings
- Initiate county court legal actions for debt recovery and progress cases through our in-house system
Required Skills:
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work accurately and to a high quality
- Good IT skills and adaptability when using new systems
- Clear communication capabilities and confidence in making telephone calls
