Job Title: Green Spaces Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Green Spaces Officer to join our team at Stratford-on-Avon District Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for the management and maintenance of green spaces within the district.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of environmental and operational services.
  • Collaborate with local communities to promote the value of green spaces and encourage their use and enjoyment.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to green spaces and environmental services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and operational services, including green spaces management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Arrangements:

  • 37 hours per week.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with a mix of office and remote working.

Location:

Stratford-on-Avon District Council, Elizabeth House, Warwickshire.
