Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Management Director to join our team at IQVIA Argentina. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing laboratory vendors for clinical trials projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Study Specification Worksheet (SSW): Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a comprehensive SSW that facilitates the bid process and selection of vendors.
  • Optimize Study Start-Up Process: Implement a frontloaded and timely study start-up process to ensure vendors meet quality and service level standards.
  • Vendor Service Excellence: Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring vendors deliver high-quality services and meet service level agreements.
  • Risk Management: Create and maintain vendor-related risk maps with contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
  • Document Issues and Implement Corrective Actions: Document vendor performance issues and implement corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Drive root cause analysis of supplier performance issues and identify trends to inform process improvements.
  • Standards and Processes: Collaborate with the VCE to implement standards, templates, tools, and processes for vendors at SSU.
  • Support Improvement Projects: Support practice leaders in improvement projects and learning loops to drive continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Qualification: Collaborate with VP&G to provide data for vendor qualification efforts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a health care or scientific discipline is required.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a good command of the English language.
  • Experience in Vendor Management: Previous experience in managing laboratory vendors for clinical trials projects is essential.
