HGV Fleet Mechanic vacancy with Kemp Recruitment Limited in Chesterfield

About the Role

We are seeking skilled HGV Technicians to maintain and repair a fleet of vehicles and trailers at our brand-new site.

  • Maintain high standards of technical work on HGVs, trailers, and tractor units
  • Provide comprehensive support from fault analysis to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls

Salary: £24ph - £49,920 basic (OTE: £60,000)

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modification work on HGVs, trailers, and tractor units
  • Provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of HGVs and trailers with a focus on health and safety requirements
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of HGVs and trailers
  • Fully skilled with industry-recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance, and repair
  • HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
