Highways Development Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Development Engineer to join our Highways Development Control Team at Cheshire West and Chester. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for dealing with highways development management, including road adoptions and third-party highway works.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a highways/traffic engineering/transport planning environment, dealing with major and complex proposals involving the implementation and adoption of third-party highway works. Your expertise in controlling the impact of development on our highway network and ensuring the safety of all road users will be invaluable to us.
The successful candidate can expect a salary of around £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about transportation engineering and have a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Our Highways Development Control Team is responsible for managing the development process from planning to completion. We work closely with developers to ensure that new developments meet our high standards for safety and quality.
As a Principal Development Engineer, you will be required to:
