About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join our Procurement Team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operational planning and leadership across the Supplies Section, including the Goods Distribution Centre, Domestics Stores, Pathology Stores, and service provision of ward and clinic top-up for stocked items.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Supplies Section, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Lead the Supplies Team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of their duties.
  • Develop and implement strategies to eliminate waste and improve processes using lean methodology.
