About the Role:

L&M Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Psychologist to join our team in the Warrington area. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will provide direct clinical input and assessment for older people living with dementia, mental health disorder, and acquired brain injury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake collaborative risk assessment for individual residents
  • Provide general advice to the staff team who support them
  • Hold a caseload of clinical work, including carrying out person-centred positive behaviour support plans

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with older adults living with dementia, PBS planning, and supporting people with an acquired brain injury (preferred)
  • 2:1 Psychology degree
  • To meet professional practice expectations and the BPS code of ethics
  • A BPS accredited recognised degree in Psychology conferring Graduate Basis for Registration (GBR)
  • Own car is essential, and all travel expenses will be covered
